The sounds are unmistakable—the rhythmic pop-pop-pop of a doubles rally, the steady whomp-bounce-pop of groundstroke drills with the ball machine, and the infectious laughter of friends and competitors enjoying their time together. Welcome to one of Hermitage’s most vibrant social centers: the racquet sports program.

Tennis has been a cornerstone of the Hermitage tradition for generations. Our facilities include 8 outdoor courts, featuring six Har-Tru surfaces, 4 indoor courts, and ample spaces both in and around the Sports Center for socializing and relaxing.

In 2024, Hermitage expanded its racquet offerings to include 8 outdoor pickleball courts and 4 platform tennis courts, making it an exciting time to be part of this community.

With active instructional programs, regional and local tournaments for all ages, and a calendar packed with social events, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
